Welcome To Purrty Katz Persians ! My name is Brian Gravett and I am a retired school teacher, so I have the time required to devote to the breeding and showing of the lovely breed of Persian cats. I live in a rural community outside Brantford Ontario,Canada. I have been breeding Persians for the past 19 years. Like many others I did not start with quality cats, nor did I have knowledge of understanding pedigrees when I first began. I think through trial and error and with experience, I became a "serious breeder" about 12 years ago. I specialize in Bi-Color, Calico and Van Persians including the Tabby pattern. I occasionally get Solid and Parti-Color Persians as well. I am very proud of the sweet,wide open look of the Purrty Katz kittens and am equally proud of their loving dispositions. I show extensively in CFA and have produced many Grand Champions and also some regional winning cats. I am continually striving to improve my breeding program by adding quality outcross cats to my bloodlines. I have helped several new breeders get started in the fancy, and always take the time to respond to emails that I receive in regards to my kittens. I love country music so you will see that all cats born here at Purrty Katz are named after country songs, groups and dances,which explains some of the names that seem strange at first glance.
